Update: The Council rep required an RSVP to their invitation last week so I’ve declined this time. Just unfortunate timing with the Mackay comp on the same weekend.

Burdekin Shire Council have invited us to perform on stage at the Cultural Fair, which is part of a huge week of celebrations including the First Canefire, Cane Cutting Championships and the Cultural Fair. It’s also the same weekend as the Mackay comp and Feis 😬 The Council are chasing a yes or no ASAP so they can start promoting the event and the performers. If you aren’t competing in Mackay and you’d love to dance at the Cultural Fair, could you possibly indicate ASAP.
