We have been asked to participate in Tartan day coming up. The official opening is 10am. There is the clan parade at 1030am where we can march under Lower Burdekin Celtic Dances Association and some dances may be asked to help hold some banners up for anyone who can’t march themselves like we were asked last year. Mum and I are in the process of making our own banner right now and am hoping to be marching with it this year. There is then two 15 minute time slots booked in for Highland Dancing at 1130 and 1200. We need numbers so I can let Kathy know as she has volunteered to organise this part of the event. Dances will be told what costume is needed when numbers are in and what dances on the day.
